Did you know…
That the State of California has a program to assist small employers* in bringing employees back to work after a workplace injury?
California’s “Bring ‘em Back” program will reimburse an employer up to $2500** in workplace modifications, ergonomic equipment and evaluation assistance to assist in bringing an employee back to work or to keep them working following a workplace injury.
Would an injured employee benefit from an ergonomic chair or keyboard platform? How about custom knee pads or anti-fatigue matting? Maybe an adjustable stool or ergonomically designed hand tool? These are just a sampling of the products that may be helpful in getting your employees back to work and keeping them at work following a workplace injury.
As a provider of ergonomic services to the State of California, Pelletier & Associates’ team is equipped to assist you. We can conduct an evaluation of your workplace, review your employees’ work restrictions and recommend the appropriate equipment and / or modification to the workplace to assist your employee in returning to or staying at work, at essentially no cost to you.
With over 25 years of experience in the field of workers’ compensation, we can assist you in navigating the sometimes confusing waters of the return-to-work process. We have worked with hundreds of insurance providers and are familiar with the system. We can obtain from your insurance provider all of the necessary documentation to submit to the State of California and prepare all of the necessary documents so that you may obtain reimbursement of these expenses.
The “Bring ‘em Back” program is the State of California’s concerted effort to bring employees back to work quickly following an injury. You don’t have to wait for a workers’ compensation case to be closed or settled before you bring an injured employee back to work. If you have a position for the employee and believe that workplace modifications will assist in getting them back to work, you can initiate the process now.
Contact Pelletier & Associates for a preliminary consultation on this exciting new program. Your employees could be back to work sooner than you think!

*Small employers are defined as any employer with fewer than 50 full-time employees, whose employee was injured on-the-job after July 1, 2004.
** Employers will be reimbursed up to $2,500 when a permanently disabled employee is brought back to work and up to $1,250 for a temporarily disabled employee.
